The seven members of BTS sat down for an interview with USA Today where they talked about the upcoming single 'Dynamite '. During the interview, RM and the boys stated that the most difficult part about preparing 'Dynamite' was to step out from their comfort zone and write the song completely without a single Korean word.

 Jungkook said, "It was more interesting than hard. It was an interesting kind of challenge." RM added, "Who would have thought about this pandemic? No meetings, no karaokes, or concerts. We can't walk around the park even. We never thought to fully sing this song in English, but the thought just came to us during the process of making it."

 Suga also explained, "This pandemic is something that is affecting everyone in the world, and so we thought about what we would do during this time."

 J-Hope admitted that he's using music and dance to lift himself up and cope with the situation while Jin shared that he's taken up to trying new things and new challenges.

 Jimin pondered that at this time, we really need to bring ourselves together, pull our strings together, and encourage everyone while overcoming the difficulties as a collective.

 RM revealed the goals of the song, "We've been through all the sadness and desperation but with this song and performance, we just hope the world gets more positive and be happy. That's our goal."
